6000TOCi sensor for challenging measurement points The 6000TOCi sensor offers an optically modeled design to optimize UV light trans-mission. Coupled with a high intensity, high energy UV lamp, this leads to more efficient UV oxidation. This efficient design also provides improved measurement repeatability, limit of detection, reproducibility, and stability. While this is crucial for all applications, this is especially critical for low level measurements in demanding applications where accuracy is a necessity to avoid any negative impact on production.   The 6000TOCi sensor comes factory calibrated and ready to install, reducing the time needed for project execution. Moreover, due to this factory calibration, low level calibration in the field is not required for those applications which demand such measurement levels. The sensor also provides error-proof, on-site validation of solutions using RFID, reducing the possibility of error or using expired solutions in calibration and other processes. The 6000TOCi uses 58% less UPW than previous METTLER TOLEDO TOC sensors during its operation, thus further saving costs on water production.   The 6000TOCi also has unique advanced features to benefit the user. ISM technology helps the end user manage and monitor water chemistry as well as sensor health more precisely. The Lamp Dynamic Lifetime Indicator is a predictive diagnostic tool which monitors lamp health and provides an indication as to when the lamp should be replaced. The Time to Maintenance (TTM) indicator alerts the user when the calibration, SST and ballast service is due. Moreover, sensor alarms and excursion counters clearly alert the user if there is a water quality issue related to TOC contamination. These features not only help the end user during their monitoring activities, but they also help system fabricators proactively plan their resources to address service needs on the water systems they supply with service contracts.
