Cookie crumble? Apparently not.🍪 ATT coming to Chrome? Not really. Google’s major announcement about the plan to give users the choice to consent to cookies on Chrome sent shockwaves across the ecosystem. In the context of user-level data signal loss, this means some loss is actually mitigated. But the picture is still extremely vague: Opt-out or opt-in mechanism? Dual consent yes or no? Strict/fixed or flexible use of language and UX functionality?
