Impact of CrowdStrike Software Update Outage We are writing to inform you about a significant issue stemming from a recent CrowdStrike software update, which has resulted in widespread outages affecting millions of Microsoft Windows users globally. If you suspect that these outages have impacted you or your clients, we strongly encourage you to contact one of our expert Cyber brokers immediately. Our team is fully prepared to assist you in managing insurance coverage, recovery processes, and event management related to this incident. Here's how we can support you and your clients during this challenging time: Insurance Coverage and Recovery: The Crowdstrike outage may qualify for coverage under business interruption or contingent business interruption insuring agreements in the cyber policy for those insureds who were down and suffered an income loss or extra expense as a result. The determination for whether coverage may apply will be fact specific so if you believe you have an affected insured, please reach out to us with details so we may assist in the filing of claims or notices of circumstances as appropriate. Please note that late notice is often a justification (upheld by courts) for denying claims. We expect retail/travel/hospitality and e-commerce industries to be heavily impacted. Our team of cyber experts will assist in analysis of in force cyber insurance to assess coverage options and filing requirements. In order to maximize coverage, please have insureds document specific operational impacts, and begin tracking incurred costs while mitigating the outage to support the claims recovery process. Our claims experts are adept at fighting for the most coverage available under the policy. Event Management: Our policies may be able to coordinate IT/technical assistance for your clients or their customers to address disruptions caused by the outage. Our policies may be able to support crisis management and communications efforts to effectively manage the impact on stakeholders and operations. Please reach out as soon as possible to your ARC Broker who can assist. We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as new information becomes available. Thank you for your attention to this matter. We are committed to helping you navigate through this situation and support your clients' needs.

ARC has hired Valerie Mayer to assume the position and duties of Chief Financial Officer. Valerie comes to ARC with over 25 years of experience where she was last the CFO of Allied Physicians Group, a physician lead pediatric group with 35 locations. Valerie built the Allied Physicians Group’s accounting department from the ground up inclusive of all internal controls, transaction posting policies, submission policies, efficiency measures, and overall performance. Valerie will be taking over for John Casale, who will stay on to transition the role to Valerie. Valerie will jump in feet first to help ARC continue to improve its accounting and finance capabilities and to build upon the organizational and operational efficiencies John Casale has instituted. Valerie is a CPA and has a MBA from the Frank Zarb School of Accounting from Hofstra University. Valerie has been recognized as Long Island Business News' "Top 50 Women in Business". Commenting on these changes, Mike Cavallaro, CEO of ARC said, “I am so excited to have Valerie join the team. She is super qualified and I believe that she will bring our accounting and finance functions to new heights. At the same time, I want to thank John Casale who over the last 18 months, brought organization and professionalism to our accounting and finance department. Due to some personal issues, John has stepped down from the CFO role, but has agreed to stay on to help get Valerie integrated into the role, but also to be a special advisor to ARC with a particular focus on our conversion to the accounting seed platform.”
