About us
The Arizona Diamondbacks have won five National League West Division Championships (1999, 2001-02, 2007, 2011) since entering Major League Baseball as an expansion franchise in 1998. The D-backs also became the fastest expansion team to win a World Series Championship after defeating the New York Yankees in the 2001 World Series in only their fourth year of existence. The club plays its games at Chase Field in downtown Phoenix, which features a signature swimming pool and a retractable roof, to keep fans comfortable in an air-conditioned facility during the hot summer months. The organization has also given back more than $55 million to non-profit organizations in Arizona since 1997 through its Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and is consistently named among the “Best Places to Work” by the Phoenix Business Journal and BestCompaniesAZ. Over Hispanic Heritage Weekend, we were honored to recognize our 2024 Pete Garcia Los D-backs Hispanic Leadership Award winner, January Contreras. The D-backs Pete Garcia Award is given each season to an individual for their advocacy, leadership and service to strengthen the Hispanic community in Arizona. As the CEO of Children's Action Alliance, January works with partners to ensure equitable access for children to high-quality education, safety, health care, and economic well-being throughout the state. Children’s Action Alliance puts important issues on the table, such as the need for quality child care and health care for working parents. Congratulations to January and thank you for your massive contributions to our community and beyond. You are truly an inspiration ✨

This past Sunday, the #Dbacks joined teams across MLB in raising awareness for the fight against childhood cancer. During a special pregame ceremony, we had the honor of hosting patients, families and staff from Phoenix Children's to the field to recognize their courage, dedication and compassion. Our first pitch was thrown by 10-year old Spencer from Page, AZ who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2022 and has worked hard to build strength trough softball, soccer, cheer and 4-H. We closed out the ceremony with a donation of $100,000 to Phoenix Children's on behalf of #DbacksGiveBack to support their mission of providing world-class medical care to children from Arizona and beyond. #childhoodcancerawareness 💛

Just a reminder to all of us when we have a bad day, from a young patient at Phoenix Children's. The notes were given to #Dbacks Justin Martinez and Eduardo Rodriguez when they visited this past Friday 🥹

Thank you to all of the Arizona State University students, alumni and staff for joining us for an incredible #ASU Night at the #Dbacks game earlier this week! It was an honor to have national champion wrestler Richard Figueroa throw out the first pitch, plus Sun Devils’ Athletic Director, Graham Rossini, head baseball coach, Willie Bloomquist and D-backs Cory Hahn join us for the pregame celebrations. #ForksUp

Corbin Carroll is doing more than just launching baseballs lately. Earlier this month, he joined #Dbacks and Honeywell to kick-off a new school year with a brand-new “Launch Back to School” backpack initiative. Together, we donated more than 3,000 backpacks to students at nine local elementary schools. Backpacks were filled with school supplies and a copy of the Martian Moon Mayhem Honeywell STEM Storybook, featuring who else but Corbin Carroll!
