It’s been a great week for LSEG at London Climate Action Week 2024! We convened investors, companies, policy makers and other stakeholders, encouraging cooperation, partnership and the active sharing of ideas to mobilise climate transition in the UK and beyond. Highlights included: • Welcoming the IFRS Foundation to the London Stock Exchange to celebrate the first anniversary of the launch of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) S1 and S2 standards. The ISSB announced it will assume responsibility for the Transition Plan Taskforce Disclosure Framework and guidance materials. • Hosting the Climate Investment Summit, organised by World Climate Foundation. The event brought together a range of industry leaders and experts to discuss practical solutions to the question of how to finance a low-carbon and nature-positive future. • Hosting a roundtable at the Climate Innovation Forum at the Guildhall, on the topic of ‘Deriving Value from Corporate Disclosures’. The room was full of lively discussions on corporate disclosure challenges, opportunities and best practice. • Events hosted with the Transition Pathway Initiative (TPI) as well as the UK Carbon Markets Forum together with the ASEAN Alliance on Carbon Markets. Another fantastic week of collaboration, and we look forward to much more ahead. #LCAW2024

The CABC is thrilled to share a recap of the Canada & ASEAN: Building Stronger Bridges for Mutual Growth event, held on April 18, 2024, in Jakarta, Indonesia. This momentous occasion, co-hosted by the Canada-ASEAN Business Council (CABC) and The ASEAN Secretariat, celebrated the CABC's accreditation as an entity associated with ASEAN. The event brought together distinguished guests, including the Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Canada's Ambassador to ASEAN, H.E. Vicky Singmin, and Indonesia's Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, H.E. Sandiaga Uno. We were also honoured by the presence of Permanent Representatives from Malaysia, the Philippines, Brunei, Indonesia, and Lao PDR, along with ASEAN-BAC Chair, Mr. Oudet Souvannavong and ASEAN-BAC Indonesia, Mr. Bernardino Vega. We are happy to announce that Canada-ASEAN Business Council and the ASEAN Alliance on Carbon Markets (AACM) solified our strategic partnership on April 18, 2024 in accelerating climate action initiatives across #SoutheastAsia. 🇨🇦🌏 The event was attended by high-level representatives from ASEAN member states, the Canadian government, and the Canada-ASEAN business community. Among the distinguished attendees were Sandiaga S. Uno, Indonesia Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, H.E. Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary General of ASEAN; H.E. Vicky Singmin, Canadian Ambassador to ASEAN; Diedrah Kelly, former Canadian Ambassador to ASEAN and the inaugural Executive Director of the Indo-Pacific Agriculture & Agrifood Office. Also present were representatives from the ASEAN Member States including H.E. Bovonethat Douangchak, Permanent Representative of the Lao PDR to ASEAN, as well as Mr. Oudet Souvannavong, Chair of ASEAN-Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC), Mr. Bernardino Vega, Alternate Chair of ASEAN-BAC Indonesia 2023.
