Global shipping schedule reliability improved by 3.8 percentage points month-on-month (M/M) in May, marking its highest year-to-date level. (MOL) announced that as part of the MOL Group's environmental strategy, its group company MOL Chemical Tankers (MOLCT) signed Japan's first sustainability-linked lease agreement with Tokyo Century Corporation / 東京センチュリー for the chemical tanker BONITA ANA. #China-Europe freight train trips surpassed 10,000 this year as a train bound for #Duisburg in #Germany departed on July 10 from #Wuhan, the capital of central China's Hubei Province. According to China State Railway Group Co., Ltd, the trains have transported more than 1.08 million twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU) containers of goods this year, up 11% from last year. Supply chain activity growth remained slow at a global level, according to a new S&P Global Market Intelligence, while manufacturing new orders are at their highest since March 2022, though growth is inconsistent by region, with #Europe lagging and #Asia leading.
