🌟 “As demands of the workforce change, it’s time to recognize that there’s not a one-size-fits-all approach to post-secondary education. To ensure equitable support for all students, schools must adopt a multi-faceted approach to post-secondary success — to provide a range of options that mirror the diversity of the student body.” ➡️Read more from Ivonne Polanco, Senior Regional Program Manager for Post-Secondary Success of the LA region here at Aspire Public Schools! To better support students, California should change its school funding formula. Currently, the state funds public schools based on the average number of students attending each day. (In fact, we’re one of only six states that still fund schools this way!) Instead, we should fund schools based on the number of students enrolled—the students for whom we are responsible for educating. Want to learn more?
