I've been talking a lot about AI stuff lately, mostly because the recent work we have been doing at Asteres has been revolving around AI, but Asteres Technologies actually started out doing work in the space, drone, and blockchain industries. The space industry is our ultimate and primary concern, and all other emerging technologies we deal with (3D printing, blockchain, AI, VR training, etc.) just support the types of activity we want to do on the moon and in space in general. This video was posted yesterday, but I'm pretty sure the reporting is from a while ago this summer. Regardless, we've been helping out Astroport Space Technologies in whatever ways we can. Sam Ximenes is really easy to get behind as the visionary for the mission. He has convinced a huge selection of people to work with him. Everyone from Universities, rover companies (depicted in the art), mining companies, software companies (like us and others), design companies (also us and others), and launch companies are involved with the planning, research, development, and execution. Personally, I wish more of the team felt as open to talking about their roles in the effort as we are. But they have their own rules and chain of media they have to follow. If people knew the scale of cooperation going on, I think they would be really excited. Most companies are trying to go it alone. But the alliance that Sam has assembled is really impressive and we personally don't have a doubt about the success. Huge shout out to Josh Torgerson on the countless hours he spent working on this art. He is his own worst boss. There are tiny pixels in these images that he still complains about.

The LCATS Kickoff Event at The San Antonio Museum of Science and Technology Museum inside the Boeing Center at Tech Port was a resounding success! This event marked the beginning of an important STEM journey for 30 outstanding students who were chosen to join the NASA-Commissioned Lunar Caves Analog Test Sites program. We could all immediately feel the energy and enthusiasm of the students fill up the room. The LCATS program is not just about learning; it's about building a community of like-minded individuals who are passionate about space exploration. The students will spend their time working hand-in-hand with scientists solving real-world space exploration challenges presented by NASA. We had the privilege of hearing from Jim Perschbach on behalf of Port San Antonio and the Kelly Heritage Foundation, and UTSA Professor and Volcanologist Alan Whittington offered valuable insights and knowledge into the world of Lava Tubes!
