Last week we were honored to host U.S. Senator John Hickenlooper at our facility in Boulder for an in-depth look at our latest-generation #quantumcomputing platforms with our CEO and Founder, Dr. Ben Bloom. In a follow-on roundtable discussion with our ecosystem partners updates were shared on applied quantum computing research projects that we are collaborating on with National Renewable Energy Laboratory and University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, and how the Colorado quantum ecosystem will continue to grow with leadership from Elevate Quantum and the recent $41M Tech Hub award. Thanks to Dr. Dan LaBarbera, Corban Tillemann-Dick, and Rob Hovsapian PhD for supporting this event!

We're excited to announce that PRX Quantum has published our work on creating atomic arrays with over 1200 ytterbium atoms. As we previously shared, this demonstrates how our neutral atom approach straightforwardly scales to large numbers of qubits. Combined with our mid-circuit measurement techniques and long coherence times, this puts us on the fast track toward utility-scale quantum computing. #EDA #TechHub Phase 2 funded! Let’s go! We are proud to announce $127m in Federal and State funding to support Elevate Quantum initiatives. Following an extensive review process, Elevate Quantum is honored to have been selected for the Tech Hubs Phase 2 implementation award by the Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration. The award, totaling $40.5M, secures an additional >$80M in funding from the states of Colorado and New Mexico, and up to $1B in private capital investment – with a shot at $960M in additional federal grants through the Tech Hub program. These investments keep America and the Mountain West at the forefront of the most important race of the 21st century, creating the quantum infrastructure of tomorrow and securing our national security interests. We stand on the shoulders of giants. Special shout outs to: - Colorado Gov. Jared Polis and New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham; Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade's Eve Lieberman, and New Mexico's Alex Greenberg) - The federal delegations of Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico, in particular Sen. John Hickenlooper, Sen. Michael Bennet, and Representative Joe Neguse - The Colorado General Assembly and Xander Martin for his guidance on the Quantum Bill. - The EQ Board: Dan Caruso (Caruso Ventures), Missy Diehl (University of Colorado Boulder), Alex Greenberg (State of NM), Brooks Johnson (TechHubNow!), Wendy Lea (Energize Colorado, TechHubNow!), Eve Lieberman (OEDIT), Anthony Neal-Graves, Jesus Salazar (Prosono; Colorado School of Mines), Dr. Colleen Simpson (Front Range Community College), Dr. Marlou Slot (WOMANIUM; National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)), Corban Tillemann-Dick (Maybell Quantum), Zachary Yerushalmi (Elevate Quantum) - CU Boulder and Colorado School of Mines - The EQ Workforce Collaborative Board - Component Project Leads, including Scott Davis Vescent, Techstars, Lucy Sanders (NCWIT, and Jake Douglas (Sandia Labs) - Wendy Lea (we all live in her shadow) and Corban Tillemann-Dick (EQ Chair and co-founder, CEO of Maybell Quantum) - The incredible team of Delivery Associates, the unstoppable Tom Kourlis, and George C. Tagg, Jr. / GTC 360° Advisors. It was an honor to pull this off alongside this team. - A huge shout-out to the Elasticity team led by Jason Michael - The entire Mountain West quantum industry - Mike Freeman’s sage wisdom and wider support from the Innosphere Ventures team. - A special mention to the EDA team helping us throughout this process. We’re excited to announce the establishment of Atom Computing Denmark ApS! With its rich history of quantum physics research and development and growing quantum ecosystem, Denmark provides an ideal environment for us to advance our neutral atom quantum computing technology. With an initial focus on providing support to the Danish Quantum Information Science (QIS) research community, we aim to launch a quantum computing lab to provide access to our platforms for both research and commercial applications, and eventually host quantum computing cloud services for greater Europe from Denmark.
