Introducing our July Employee of the Month 🌟KaeLynne Ybarra🌟 We asked KaeLynne a few questions to help get to know her better. What do you like to do in your free time? I enjoy going to to plant stores and vinyl stores to search for any hidden gems I don't have in my little collections. I love to spend time with my family going on adventures all around Texas and trying all the best places to eat. I also enjoy sitting outside and listening to music with my partner. I also really enjoy making stamps/prints, photography, and charcoal drawing. What do you like about your job and/or Austin Retina? I love what we do for our patients. I have never worked for a company that has cared so deeply. I am surrounded by positive like minded individuals who truly want the very best for our patients. I work with such wonderful people who constantly encourage and support one another. Where did you grow up and what are some fun facts or special memories you have about that place? I grew up in Del Rio and some of my favorite memories are going out to the lake with friends and family. Along with this my grandma really enjoyed going to garage sales so we spent most mornings that way. I moved to Schertz when I was in middle school and finished out high school there. Some of my fondest memories from that chapter were spent with friends going to concerts and enjoying each other's company. If you could only bring three things with you on a deserted island, what would they be? It would have to be something that can hold tons of music, a journal w/ a pen, and something to keep contact with those I love. What is one word you would use to describe yourself? Meet Andraya Chacon, she is Dr. Ghafoori's photographer and featured in our July Image of the Month in our 2024 calendar! “I love being in photography because I am able to physically see the diseases that we learn about and it helps me understand and become more familiar with the diseases we treat. It’s cool to get to take pictures all day!” Congratulations Andraya, thank you for your dedication to taking intricate photos and #SavingSight! #retinaphotographer #retinaphotography #diagnosticimaging #imageofthemonth #retina #austinretina
