A new study shows that hyperbaric oxygen therapy contributes to physical enhancement of sedentary older adults. The new randomized controlled trial showed participants who received HBOT treatment experienced improvements in VO2Max, oxygen consumption, cardiac blood flow and cardiac blood volume. That translates to the potential for increased energy and endurance, as well as overall improved cardiovascular health — even without implementing any other changes.
