Last week, rising 10th and 11th grade girls gathered at University of Maryland Baltimore County for The Exelon Foundation STEM Academy, a free, week-long program for young women to learn from business leaders and women working in STEM. Students spent the week attending hands-on activities, educational sessions, improving leadership and professional skills, and tackling a group challenge. #WomenInSTEM

While many enjoy summer’s warmth, BGE’s Gas Supply Team is busy preparing for winter by purchasing and storing natural gas at lower off-season prices to ensure affordability and reliability for customers during the colder months. By leveraging gas storage fields and assets, BGE keeps costs down and ensures a stable supply, covering over half of the expected winter demand with stored gas.
