Meet the team! Sasa Skipina is a senior member of the sales team, responsible for distribution in the Balkans and Black Sea markets. Throughout the 13 years in the company he has grown Bamberger’s commercial presence in the area, helping to set up the Serbian office that is now home to 12 fellow employees.   When not selling plastics he loves active sports with his family and can't get enough of his favourite Olympic mountain, Jahorina. In the winter, he relishes the stunning slopes and speedy runs (where he's managed to tear the ligaments in both knees) and then in the Summer he recovers, soaks up the sun, breathes in the fresh air, and goes hiking to build up his fitness once again.   When he's winding down, he enjoys whipping up Mediterranean dishes, but likes us all, aims to hit the gym and the pool afterwards to make sure those extra pounds don’t sneak up on him.   Fun fact (or tip when he interviews you): His love for his favourite basketball club Partizan is legendary in the sales team, we all now know that second place is not good enough and this year will have to be better.   #ColleagueSpotlight #BambergerPolymers #MeetTheTeam #TogetherWeAchieveMore #TeamSuccess

Meet the team! Maria Opalińska, Sales Representative. Maria Opalinska joined Bamberger in May 2023 to add to our growing experience in speciality market segments and local distribution sales, her fresh energy and adventurous spirit is leading us further downstream towards new Polish customers. When not paddling or planning a trip to see Aurora Borealis, Maria trains mindfulness and that is why you can see her carrying a yoga mat on trips. She is not someone to sit still unless her two persuasive cats ‘Grucha’ and ‘Leia’ are involved, when they can enjoy a scratch and cuddles and Maria hopes she can finish reading that crime novel. Ed note. The butler did it! Bamberger is grateful Maria joined the team, her prior experience and individual approach has freshened up the company's enthusiasm to put the customer first and foremost. Be careful negotiating, she also is curious about the functionality of the human brain. Jej pierwsze dni pracy wypadły w trakcie targów Plastpol w Kielcach, gdzie dziarskim krokiem weszła w świat tworzyw sztucznych. W wolnym czasie Maria interesuje się technikami mindfullness m.in. uczęszczając na zajęcia jogi wg metody Iyengara. Lubi też czytać kryminały w doborowym towarzystwie jej dwóch kotów – Gruchy i Lei. Jednym z największych marzeń Marii jest zobaczenie zorzy polarnej na kole podbiegunowym. Jesteśmy wdzięczni Marii za dołączenie do zespołu i wniesienie świeżego spojrzenia na naszą branżę. Jej dotychczasowe doświadczenia zawodowe i indywidualne podejście pozwala na budowanie autentycznych i głębokich relacji z klientami. Marię ciekawią sekrety działania ludzkiego umysłu, co chętnie przenosi na płaszczyznę biznesową, potrafiąc zaskoczyć niejedną ciekawostką ze świata neurobiologii. Fun fact: Maria nie boi się spontanicznych wyzwań i aktywności. Kiedy ostatnio dowiedziała się o Bemowskim Biegu Łosia, nie mając wcześniejszego doświadczenia, postanowiła wziąć w nim udział i ukończyła 5-kilometrową trasę.

Meet the team! Bojan Jevtic, European Technical Manager Bojan Jevtic joined Bamberger 8 years ago and quickly implemented REACH, ISCC+ and Clean Sweep, commissioning our bespoke high tech laboratory. Bojan is managing a technical force to be reckoned with, his four person team are responsible for delivering documentation and processing support for all our European customers. A passionate music lover he likes to go to festivals and concerts and combines with a keen appreciation of the outdoors and nature. His business trips to Germany, Egypt and the USA revolve around polymers but a shared dinner with a local stray cat is never a missed opportunity for this generous animal welfare supporter. Bojan and his team can help us identify the true value in any off grade, so each material has a value regardless of quality, this is appreciated by the customer as it was chosen for their specific needs through a long-term supply relationship. Meet the Team! Katalin Székely is our dedicated Product Manager, as a senior buyer her role is to ensure excellent service is given to our local suppliers. Katalin Szekely joined our Product team last December and brought with her 18 years of polymers expertise.   She is passionate about her job and enjoys it the most if she can build long-term reliable and trustworthy relationships.   Beyond her professional life, Katalin is a devoted family person, known for her culinary talents and particularly enjoys cooking and baking. She's a big fan of Coldplay, having attended their latest show twice. Her ideal break includes a seaside relaxation, hiking adventures, and exploring new cuisines to learn and recreate.   Fun fact: Despite not liking chocolate, Kata enjoys selecting it for others based on the packaging! Meet the Team: Eren Saracer Eren Saracer has been involved in the polymers industry for over 25 years, we have been lucky to have him part of the Bamberger family for most of his career. As the manager of the Turkey and Georgia market he is a very important cornerstone of the commercial team as he supports both Europe and Asian business. A key seller and part of the growing sourcing team, if there is a problem Eren can always suggest an innovative solution, our very own ‘Mr Fix it’. So, if you have a problem, you now know who to call! Known for his love of food and passion for his country it is no surprise the invite to join him at Plast Eurasia is the hottest ticket in the company. In the rare moments he is not thinking about polymers he is learning to play golf. Meet The Team! Meet Jean-baptiste VIAL who joined us last year. A self-starter, he has dived right into the polymer industry, continuously expanding his knowledge of our dynamic markets. He likes to explore the world through extensive backpacking trips, so far covering three continents. He rides his bike to the office, blending his commitment to daily fitness with his work routine. His love for gastronomy reflects his appreciation for the finer things in life. One of our Sales Managers, Jean-Baptiste uses his fluency in French and English to build strong client relationships in the markets of Scandinavian and his native France. Meet the Team: Meet Erik Konings! He has been a colleague for over 16 years, his role is to manage the sales for the key Italian market, but he is far more than your average salesman. A highly positive team member who is keen to support everyone around him, he has spent his entire career excelling in the world of polymers while also nurturing a love for travel, immersing himself in a Texan Rodeo and the local Cajun shank ‘gator and crayfish street food. When he is not exploring new flavours or hiking through scenic trails, you'll find him cheering his favoured football team. Although his busy work schedule doesn't allow for much time to practice himself, hearing his extensive knowledge about Juventus always entertains his colleagues. The Bamberger Product and Technical team is trained in the ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) methodology and processes and then able to prove their proficiency and systems. With over 5,000 valid certificates in more than one hundred countries, ISCC is among the world’s largest certification systems. Suppliers and customers utilize ISCC auditing and certification to ensure their product’s content and the claims they wish to make regarding that content, are supplied or distributed by partners who will permit audit of their processes and warehousing locations according to the level of certification. This will continue to enable Bamberger Polymers (Europe) B.V. to distribute products that require certification and supply materials to anyone who may require ISCC certification.
