This past Friday, Barker Pacific Group celebrated the re-imagining of The Hendrix Apartments in Las Vegas during a special ribbon-cutting ceremony after nearly two years of renovations to the 278-unit complex. Nick Potter, BPG's CFO explained, "In the industry, there is always a push to drive rental rates and not necessarily add a lot of value [...] This was a cool opportunity to come in and improve a community but not drive out the people in the community." In Clark County alone, there is a shortage of nearly 85,000 homes for low-income residents in the Las Vegas valley. The highly anticipated Holbrook House restaurant and bar inside Barker Pacific Group's One Sansome in the heart of FiDi has officially opened its doors. The sumptuous Holbrook House, conceived by SF hospitality industry veteran Phil Spiegel, is the jewel of a multifaceted hospitality concept. The luxe restaurant is part of a $23 million makeover that transforms the historic Albert Pissis-designed ground-floor conservatory into a space that's open to the public during the day, with the ability to pivot to private events such as weddings and fundraisers. Holbrook House is an exciting addition to our building, tenants, and our neighborhood, serving breakfast, lunch, and small bites in the evening.
