Ad Age and Base Beauty Creative Agency™ just launched a first-of-its-kind research report titled “The Empathy Effect: Unlocking explosive growth in beauty, wellness, and personal care industries.” As part of this six-month-long research project, Ad Age deployed a custom survey with Signet Research Inc. to C-suite leaders at beauty, wellness, and personal care companies. The 200+ decision-maker survey respondents shared their experiences with advancing marketing and creative initiatives, their points of view on where agency partners provide value, and what role empathetic thinking plays in this work. As AI is poised to transform the beauty and personal care industries, empathy is vital to bridging the gap between automation and humanity. This past week was one for the books. Milani Cosmetics proudly launched its latest campaign, "Face Set. Mind Set." spotlighting America’s #1 setting spray. It celebrates how setting your makeup with Milani’s Make It Last Setting Spray can help boost your confidence and mentally prepare you for whatever’s ahead, whether you’re getting ready to slay the everyday or compete on a global stage. The campaign features sport icons Team USA silver medal-winning artistic gymnast Jordan Chiles, WNBA guard Sabrina Ionescu, Team USA volleyball gold medalist Chiaka Ogbogu and weightlifting champion Mattie Rogers. Each of these talented women are stars in their own right and are paving the way for future female athletes on the global stage.
