Improving Health ~ Enhancing Lives
About us
Our goal is to help members of the Bucks County, PA community live healthy and productive lives. Our programs focus on helping individuals with smoking cessation, vaccine access, and the creation of healthcare-related estate documents. Stop Smoking Programs If you want to stop smoking, we applaud you for making that decision. It is not easy but the first step is wanting to take action. We offer a free five-session smoking cessation program that can include nicotine replacement therapy (a patch or gum). These classes are both in-person and held virtually on Zoom. Select the one that works for the type of support you need. Vaccine Programs If you need access to vaccines, we have the information you need. Working closely with local hospitals and the Department of Health we have developed channels to help you find a provider and get the protection you need. Advanced Care Directives Estate planning is important, and healthcare planning is a critical component. We can help you make sure your loved ones know exactly how you want to be treated should you become unable to make your own healthcare decisions. We are working to improve the health of the citizens of Bucks County by providing access and information on these critical issues. Our goal is to help you live a healthier life and have your wishes protected should your health decline.

No matter how old your child is, it’s possible for them to experience some level of stress and struggle with their health. Stressors can occur throughout all stages of life, including infancy. During these events, the individual may feel powerless, angry, fearful, or withdrawn, and it can lead to significant long-term issues. Stress can be critically impactful on a child’s health, causing both mental and physical symptoms. Symptoms can include trouble sleeping, obesity, depression, chronic infections, growth delays, jumpiness, and much more. The Healthy Children website, from the American Academy of Pediatrics, has a comprehensive list of signs and symptoms that could indicate your child may be struggling with stress. If you notice your child’s behavior, mood, or health is changing, it’s important to sit and talk with them and learn more about what they’re experiencing. You can also seek outside support from your child’s pediatrician or a psychiatric health professional. We encourage you to check out the Healthy Children website to learn more.
