It’s an honor and privilege to give back… Yesterday, the board of Beachwood 100 presented seven college scholarships to children of our community’s first responders. We’re so grateful for the service that members of our safety forces provide and are honored to be able to give back to help them and their families. In their acceptance speeches, they told the audience, which included the city’s mayor, city council members, police and firemen, board members, corporate sponsors, and community members, about their experiences growing up in an environment with parents who often put their lives at risk to protect and serve. They shared how their lives have been shaped and impacted by their parents’ dedication to their careers. We wish all the awardees success as they embark on their college journeys.
