Our mission is to stop and reverse the bee-collapse caused by climate change, using precision robotics, AI/ML, and IoT
About us
Our mission is to help commercial beekeepers pollinate and produce honey; to #savethebees utilizing our modern agricultural technology, the BeeHome. Whether it be through climate & humidity control, transportability considerations, or even real-time video monitoring, we make sure that the bee is the focus of our device. We've designed a safe, natural and productive environment allowing bees a healthier and more natural way of living. We must never forget that the traditional hives most commonly used in the world today (Langstroth box) were designed by us, humans, about 150 years ago. Most people are so used to them that we mistakenly confuse them with bees' natural habitat. That is far from being the case. By completely redesigning the beehive we were able to address a lot of the inefficiencies of the commonly used hives and significantly improve bees’ well-being and life longevity. For us, bees come first; our customers come second; and then all the rest.

15 startups bridging the pollinator gap 🐝 80% of the crops we depend on to produce the fruits and seeds we eat are dependent on pollinators. And it’s bees that do the heavy lifting. In the US and Europe, bees are responsible for around 75% of food crop pollination. But last year the US lost nearly half of its honeybee population. Here's who's which startups bridging the pollination gap: 3Bee l apic.ai l Vatorex l Beeflow l BloomX l Beewise l Pollenity l BeeHero l Olombria l ApisProtect l The Bee Corp l BEEODIVERSITY l Nectar Technologies l The Best Bees Company l Edete Precision Technologies for Agriculture And how they're doing it: 📏 Monitoring Technology Mornitoring the health and biodiversity of bees and other pollinators is critical for understanding the health of our environment. By better understanding the impact human behaviour and environmental changes have on pollinator behaviour, we can help prevent losses and increase productivity. 🌾 Pollination technology These include solutions to improve pollination efficiency, such as through artificial pollination or with analytics that help growers make better crop management decisions. 📈 Improving pollinator health Pollinator populations are quickly declining due to habitat loss and change, pesticides, climate change, and other factors. There are startups focused on improving pollinator health and productivity. 🦟 Pest control and pollinator impact Effective pest control can be optimised to benefit pollinators by focusing on highly specific methods. Neuropeptides target only the pest species, leaving beneficial insects unharmed. Ready to learn more?
