🌴 As an LA resident, I’m especially excited to see how the 🏅 #Paris24 Olympics sustainability momentum carries forward at #LA28, where many of the incredible competitions we just watched in Paris will be happening right here in my backyard! Here are a few things in the #LA28 sustainability plans that have caught my eye so far: 🏟️ “Work with what exists” is the guiding principle for the 2028 Games. With 100% of the venues coming from existing structures (including two right from my home state of Oklahoma 🏇 in order to avoid new construction!), #LA28 is building on #Paris24’s approach and pushing further.
