From thrilling performances, to a vibrant community, the night was a celebration of Black Equestrian culture. We're proud to have awarded $100,000 in grants to four deserving organizations. South Carolina  * The Black Cultural Enlightenment Society / Black Cowboy Festival  * South Carolina Black Farmers Coalition Georgia  * SOOFA Ranch  * Kendall Rae’s Green Heart (At 9 years old Kendall is the youngest Farmer in the state of Georgia) At BeyGOOD, we are committed to Economic Equity and our Equestrian program is dedicated to supporting Black cowboys, cowgirls, farmers, and ranchers to create entrepreneurial sustainability. Over the weekend, we pulled up with surprises at the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo. Join us in celebrating two amazing nonprofit organizations: Urban Saddles and Love This Horse, Equine Rescue Inc. Both of these groups were surprise recipients of $25K grants as part of our BeyGOOD Black Equestrian Grant program. Urban Saddles is focused on teaching the next generation life skills through their youth programs while Love This Horse, mission is to rescue neglected Arabian horses. These amazing organizations are committed to keeping the history of African American Cowboys and Cowgirls alive. Two months ago, we announced our $500,000 Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund collaboration and today we are proud to announce our first round of student scholarship and business grant recipients! Hair Stylists (and aspiring stylists) are imperative to our community and we’re committed to supporting their growth. That’s why we’re awarding twenty-five $10,000 financial aid student scholarships across 5 cosmetology schools, and twenty-five $10,000 grants to qualifying salon business owners demonstrating financial need, enabling them to continue making an impact in their communities. Congratulations to our first-ever grant recipients! We’re confident that there are many more amazing things in store for your future. The work here isn’t done! BeyGOOD Foundation Brazilian Grant Application. In 2020, BeyGOOD Founder @Beyonce introduced the Black Parade Route to the world to celebrate and support Small Businesses that had faced economic hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. These efforts assisted more than 900 small businesses globally. This year, scores of Entrepreneurs along Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour received entrepreneurial grants as part of Phase 2 of the Black Parade Route - where businesses were also aligned with essential tools to support entrepreneurial growth and business sustainability. AND . . . as the RENAISSANCE continues, now as a film by Beyoncé, we are excited to announce the GOOD also continues and now to BRAZIL, where we are delighted to extend our support to local entrepreneurs. Applications are NOW open for MICRO-ENTREPRENEURS and MICROENTERPRISES to apply for R$25K grants. (Must be able to substantiate financial hardship and the business must be in or around São Paulo.) ALSO . . . stay tuned for more information on RENAISSANCE Scholarship and Community Impact that will take place in SALVADOR and RIO respectively! We expect that the Black Parade Route will ignite ingenuity and new opportunities in all three (3) of these amazing Brazilian markets.
