Billings Clinic is Montana’s largest health care system the first and only Level I Trauma Center serving Montana, Wyoming and the western Dakotas. A not-for-profit organization led by a physician CEO, Billings Clinic is governed by a board of community members, nurses and physicians. Billings Clinic is an integrated multi-specialty group practice with a 304-bed hospital and Level I trauma center. Billings Clinic has more than 4,600 employees, including more than 480 physicians and advanced practitioners offering more than 80 specialties. Billings Clinic has 14 regional partnerships, including management agreements with 13 Critical Access Hospitals and one outpatient clinic. In addition, we conduct approximately 110 specialty care clinics per month at 21 different regional locations for residents of rural Montana, Wyoming, and North Dakota. We are so proud to support this effort to grow nursing education in Montana! We were so excited to be a part of the groundbreaking ceremony for the new instructional building for the Montana State University Mark and Robyn Jones College of Nursing’s Billings campus. Once completed, this new building will help to train future generations of nurses in Billings. “This work is incredibly important to the future of Montana’s nursing workforce,” said Dr. Clint Seger, Billings Clinic CEO and Billings Clinic-Logan Health unified health system co-CEO. “Nurses are key to every level of health care from patient care to leadership, from research to education. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting about 25 students from Billings Central Catholic High for a full day of learning about health care. They had the opportunity get hands on experience in our Simulation Lab learning how to do sutures, how to insert an IV and about delivering a baby; and got to observe real-time patient care and watch surgeries in our hospital and clinic. With students like this leading the way, health care is in great hands in the future. Thanks to all for spending the day with us!
