With sexually transmitted infections on the rise globally, the WHO emphasized in a recent report the need for new solutions at point-of-care. Molecular platforms like the binx io can play an important role in improving access to care and improving patient outcomes.   But not all platforms are created equal. Important questions to ask for your business and your patients: ·       Can the platform test both male and female samples? ·       Is the product adversely affected by the use of antiperspirants, deodorants or vaginal products used in the last 48 hours?
