WTW's life sciences team was honored to join forces with Bio-Ball Boston in support of Special Olympics Massachusetts! 🏀 Last month, we enthusiastically took part in Bio-Ball's annual basketball tournament, a fantastic initiative rallying the Massachusetts #biotech community for a noble cause. This event raised over $436,000 of crucial funds for Special Olympics Massachusetts. Participating in events like Bio-Ball underscores our commitment to making a meaningful difference in our community. CFG participated as a team this year, partnering with Special Olympics Massachusetts athletes for an inclusive day of scrimmages, skills and drills, and a free throw contest. The event raised a remarkable $436,440 for Special Olympics. Volunteering for events like this highlights our unwavering dedication to making a positive impact in our community.

We had an #inspiring and #inclusive time at our annual Bio-Ball event last Friday, where #biotech companies joined forces with Special Olympics MA teams for basketball games and skill/drill competitions at Harvard Athletics Complex. Participating teams raised an incredible $436,440 for Special Olympics Massachusetts! Congratulations to our top performers of the day: Sanofi/Shrewsbury, 2seventy bio/Wareham, and Kelonia Therapeutics/Lynn! And a special shout out to the top 6 teams of the JPMorgan Chase & Co. fundraising challenge, earning the opportunity to play at TD Garden alongside their Special Olympics MA counterparts later this year: Nimbus Therapeutics, Seres Therapeutics, Kelonia Therapeutics, Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, BlueRock Therapeutics, and 2seventy bio! We had a blast partnering with teammates from Special Olympics Massachusetts at last week’s Bio-Ball 2024 fundraiser and basketball tournament. We came together to #playunified and raise money for a great cause alongside our biotech industry peers. Congratulations to the members of the Alnylam Silencers/Heller's Angels who had a 🏀 at last Friday's Bio-Ball basketball tournament and are headed to the finals at TD Garden in December! Since 2007, Alnylam has proudly participated in #BioBall, which, with the Greater Boston #biotech community, raises critical funds for Special Olympics Massachusetts. This year, Alnylam's internal fundraising effort helped the tournament raise over $426,000! Bio-Ball fosters the spirit of inclusion through sports and the annual tournament helps support 14,000+ #SpecialOlympics athletes with intellectual disabilities. We're going to the Garden! Last week, Cambridge #BlueRockers participated in our company's first Bio-Ball, a single-day charity basketball tournament to benefit Special Olympics Massachusetts.   Thanks to their fundraising prowess (and solid effort on the court), Team BlueRock will play at Boston's TD Garden in the fall. #Inclusion #ChooseToInclude
