Who's ready to go back to school?
This Fall semester is a special one for me. It will be my last time teaching a University-level course in my 20's. That's right, the culmination of final projects and course grades will coincide with my 30th birthday in December.
It's always mind-blowing to think that I've been an Adjunct Professor for several years now, the time has truly flown by!
I got my entrepreneurial start at University of Delaware's Horn Entrepreneurship Official, and I always enjoy supporting the growth of the program's academic and co-curricular opportunities.
It's at UD where I first participated in pitch competitions that allowed me to practice amongst family and refine my communication skills.
It's at UD where I gained access to resources allowing me to travel the United States, from NYC to Silicon Valley, to study entrepreneurship and connect with diverse founders building incredible businesses.
It's at UD where I received the challenges, mentorship, guidance, and encouragement to pursue my entrepreneurial dreams and position myself as a leader in the innovation economy.
It's at UD where I gained the creative confidence and self-esteem needed to compete in nation-wide competitions, and win 1st place in each and every one.
That's why I'm excited to give back to the UD entrepreneurship community through my startup, BVP Coffee Co., where we've created a special bag of "1743" also known as "Bali Blue Magic" where $1 from each bag sold will be donated directly to Horn Entrepreneurship Official.
All of our products teach a lesson, and here's our fun fact about 1743:
"This university was founded in 1743, making it one of the oldest institutions of higher education in the United States. However, it wasn't until many years later that women and African Americans were able to enroll. Women were first admitted in 1914, over 170 years after the university's founding. African Americans were initially only allowed to attend the university's extension program in Wilmington in 1921, and it wasn't until 1950 that they were allowed to enroll as full-time students on the Newark campus. Today, the university is committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion on campus and beyond."
So, if you love coffee (or tea, or books, or fitness supplements) and want to support the next generation of world changers, please visit BVP Coffee Co.'s online store and give 1743 a try! You can use the code "1743" at checkout to receive free shipping on your order. ;)
