Exciting times at the Flyers Alumni fundraiser held at Bounce Pickleball in Malvern! Kristen McCabe, our Director of Growth, played pickleball—the fastest-growing sport—with clients, including Marc Grossman (super secret Pickleball Pro) and community members, all while supporting a fantastic cause. A special shoutout to the legends who joined us on the court: John LeClair (Philadelphia Flyers Stanley Cup Champion, 5-time National Hockey League (NHL) All-Star, Olympian), Todd Fedoruk, Scott Hartnell, Paul Holmgren (Bounce regular and solid 4.0 player), Brad Marsh, Bob Kelly, and Neil "Flying Goalie" Little. Your energy and sportsmanship made the event unforgettable! They stayed and played the entire night. Bounce was an incredible host, and we look forward to attending more of these events in the future—amazing cameo by Brent Celek, who is also an impressive player! Brinker Simpson is excited to announce our 2nd Pickleball group event at Bounce this July. Interested in joining the fun? Let us know soon—space is very limited!

We are thrilled to share that our Firm sponsored Tuesday's ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Alan Horwitz "Sixth Man" Center in Nicetown, North Philadelphia. This newly renovated, $36 million, 100,000-square-foot facility, developed by Philadelphia Youth Basketball (PYB), officially opened its doors on Tuesday. The event featured speeches from key figures, including state Senator Vincent Hughes, Mayor Cherelle Parker, City of Philadelphia Councilmembers Isaiah Thomas, Rue Landau, Anthony Phillips, Jim Harrity, and Curtis Jones Jr. PYB, co-founded by Kenny Holdsman, Eric Worley, and Ameen Akbar, uses basketball to empower underserved youth. The new center will serve over 5,000 children and teenagers annually, with basketball courts, education suites, mental health spaces, and multimedia labs. Our sponsorship highlights our commitment to community support and impactful initiatives. Alan Horwitz, whose donation was crucial to the project, cut the ribbon. Kristen McCabe, CPA, Director of Growth, attended on behalf of Brinker Simpson & Company. We especially thank Emily Jordan, Jennifer Sierra, Kenny Holdsman, and Randy Butler for their introductions to PYB and facility tours. We look forward to PYB's continued growth and positive impact on the community. For more information about PYB, visit https://lnkd.in/dbxRRTk.
