    This past summer, I had the privilege to work as Brookside Flavors and Ingredients' R&D Sweets/Beverages Applications Intern! I had an amazing time learning about flavor formulation and applications development. Throughout the summer, I assisted the Applications Lab in customer projects and demos, developing formulas and recipes to spotlight the variety of flavors that Brookside's Flavor Lab develops on the regular! I also helped compound and screen flavors for usage levels and customer sample requests. This past week, I concluded my internship, presenting about my experience and my proactive demo project: I developed a beverage and sweet application to showcase BFI's flavors and their potential uses in customer products. Thank you to everyone at BFI for welcoming me with such open arms. Your patience and support has made my experience one that I will forever appreciate and learn from.
