About us
Since 1978, Brookwood Farms has been providing authentic pit cooked barbeque that is slow roasted over charcoal for over 10 hours. We are passionate about how we smoke meat to make our Pulled Pork, Brisket, Ribs and other smoked meat products. We have over 300 yards of real charcoal pits built with brick and mortar wrapped in stainless steel with hoods. We cook over flaming charcoal, and we don't take any short cuts by using liquid smoke to get a smokey flavor. We get it the natural way during our cooking process the way it's supposed to be done. This is how you make Real BBQ! Located in Siler City, North Carolina, the Wood family has been committed to making the best barbecue products for generations. Developing products for foodservice, retail and K/12 school segments throughout the industry, we have national distribution and a strong sales team to assist our customers. The Brookwood Farms sales team gathered in Louisville, KY for their mid year sales meeting recently. There was a lot of hard work accomplished and some great fun as well. Distillery tours at Castle & Key and Buffalo Trace were amazing. Our friends at Levy Restaurants gave us a behind the scenes tour of Churchill Downs which was fabulous. And the Louisville Slugger museum was inspiring. Our team had a great week sharing ideas and strategies to help our existing customers and create more opportunities for Brookwood Farms with new customers.

Brookwood Farms has created the most delicious, pit-cooked, melt in your mouth, beef brisket burnt ends. We smoke choice brisket over charcoal for 14 hours, then slice the brisket into one inch cubes so you can slather them in your favorite BBQ sauce and serve. Our school team recently hosted two school districts at our production facility + test kitchen in Siler City, NC. Our guests from Escondido and Visalia school districts toured our plant and then we had a great time looking at how our products can be implemented on their school menus. Laura Jacobo’s recipe ideations were awesome, and we enjoyed having our school brokerage team in from Long Legay Brokerage (Chris Long, Debbie Long, Katie Olson) in to support us. We love showing off our cooking process and helping our K/12 partners explore ways to implement Brookwood Farms products on to their menus. Come see us soon!!
