As the first week of school has wrapped up and summer has ended, I would like to take a moment to reflect on my Audit internship at Bodwell Vasek Wells DeSimone LLP (BVWD). I feel fortunate to say that in my ten weeks with BVWD I gained an immense amount of accounting skills as well as invaluable. knowledge. Throughout this opportunity, I was able to grow and learn in ways I never have. Not only did my knowledge of CPAs and the accounting industry expand, but I was able to cultivate numerous lasting relationships along the way. Thank you to Aaron Perry, CPA, Abigail Armstrong, CPA, and Sam Ketchmark, CPA for providing me with guidance throughout my time with the firm. And a special thank you to partners, Nick Wells, CPA and Michael Bodwell for the helpful insights and tools that I may use in my future. As I progress in my education and career, I hope to carry on the BVWD value of building something that builds others!

With the end of my final week as a Tax Intern, I would like to express my gratitude to Bodwell Vasek Wells DeSimone LLP (BVWD) for making this opportunity possible. I have been lucky to receive such excellent training from this firm. This internship has expanded my knowledge of CPAs and their industry. Because of the many colleagues I had the privilege to meet, I have a stronger understanding of the accounting process and the proper habits to ensure success. I look forward to using the skills I have learned as I pursue more experience in this exciting career.

I am thrilled to share that last week I completed my 10-week summer Audit internship at BVWD! I feel honored to have worked alongside incredible people who live up to the mission of building something that builds others. This experience has enabled me to grow professionally and personally, as I gained a deeper understanding of audit processes and developed essential soft skills for thriving in the accounting industry. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my buddies, Katherine Colig and Scott Simigian for their unwavering support and guidance throughout my internship. I am also deeply appreciative of Nick Wells, CPA and Michael Bodwell as well as Aaron Perry, CPA, Abigail Armstrong, CPA and Sam Ketchmark, CPA for their continued career advice, invaluable insights, and encouragement during my time at BVWD. Additionally, I thank Holly Richardson for her assistance during the recruiting process. I would like to give a special thank you to the many colleagues I connected with, who made my summer at BVWD truly enriching. Congratulations to my fellow interns, whom I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting. I wish you all nothing but success in all the paths you take forward in your career. Thank you, BVWD, for an unforgettable summer experience. I’m excited to see what the future holds and eager to put the skills and knowledge gained into practice!
