  • Guernsey looks forward to more fantastic collaborations as your industry partner. Congratulations!

  • It was a privilege to share the stage with powerhouses Ronnie Hobbs of Tinker’s Small Business office and Paula Brown of DNI investments. Tackling the big topic of CMMC, their comments provided great context on navigating the cyber regulations coming down the contracting pipeline. Also, appreciate Tinker and the Primes for recognizing the impending impact to Oklahoma’s defense contractors.

All day we heard CMMC is a daunting topic. It's the upcoming cybersecurity regulation impacting DoD contractors known as the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). Guernsey's team had the privilege of briefing the audience at the 2024 Tinker and the Primes conference on updates to the CMMC program, including how soon it could impact some DoD contracts (as early as Q1 2025). Don't forget much of what CMMC requires are items already in contracts. We appreciate all those DoD contractors who stopped by the booth to ask questions or just give us feedback. It's this kind of exchange that makes Oklahoma's Defense sector stronger. #CMMC #CyberSecurity #Compliance #TAP2024 #Guernsey

  • Exciting developments in Lawton, OK! Guernsey has officially broken ground on the highly anticipated renovation and expansion of the McMahon Memorial Auditorium, funded through Lawton’s 2019 Capital Improvement Plan. It’s a privilege to work alongside city leaders to reach this milestone. We’ve methodically planned each phase to ensure minimal disruptions to patrons while modernizing the facility. Key improvements in Phase 1 include additional restrooms and enhanced safety features such as an enclosed fire stairwell. We also want to thank the citizens of Lawton for their support, enabling us to restore this building to its grandeur and extend its life for the next 40 years. We’re excited to work on this project and enthusiastic about the future of Lawton!

  • All Oklahoma City does is WIN! That was Mayor Holt’s theme at today’s State of the City event hosted by the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber. As the Mayor said, “The state of our city is determined,” and there’s still so much work ahead. On the horizon, we have opportunities such as the RTA commuter rail connecting Edmond to Norman, and MAPS is diving into the heart of MAPS 4 with $1.1 billion in projects. We're also gearing up for the LA 2028 Summer Olympics, with OKC set to host the canoe slalom and softball events. It’s inspiring to see such forward-thinking leadership and a room full of supportive businesses, all ready to propel our future. It was a great event and let's go OKC!

  • A huge thank you to ULI Oklahoma and APAOK for bringing community planners, including our Guernsey team, together to dive into Bartlesville’s Comprehensive Plan update. It’s always exciting to see how different communities approach growth and develop policies to shape their future. Did you know? Comprehensive plans are required for communities by Oklahoma law, providing the legal foundation for decisions on public infrastructure and services. These plans are crucial for sustainable and strategic development.
