There are billions of dollars of infrastructure funding available directly to local governments of all sizes, but many small and mid-sized communities don’t have the staff or expertise to apply for federal funding, leaving some cities to decide applying isn’t worth the effort. This is where the National League of Cities (NLC) and the Local Infrastructure Hub come in: free training programs to help municipal staff put together winning grant applications. 🖊️ No prior grant-writing experience is necessary, and the training programs are customizable with coaching and support. 🏘️ These trainings are specifically designed for cities, towns, and villages with populations under 150,000. Of the communities that have participated, 65% have populations under 25,000. 💰 Communities that have participated in the training programs have already secured more than $275 million!
