CALCOG is a member association that serves 49 regional public agencies throughout the state. Those members, in turn, serve counties, cities, and local communities across California.
Our vision is that every city and county in California is served by effective regional governance. We help our members serve their local agencies by providing a collaborative forum for important policy decisions, whether it’s programming a key transportation investment, planning for a future with fewer cars, or developing new resilience strategies. Our work is built on information sharing, storytelling, building consensus, and when necessary, advocating for policy change.
