Since 2012, CIRM has funded internships for more than 800 high school students across California. The CIRM-funded Summer Program to Accelerate Regenerative Medicine Knowledge (SPARK) provides summer high school internship opportunities at 11 institutions across California. The program is one of many ways CIRM is inspiring the next generation of scientists right here in California. We enjoyed meeting so many bright students at the annual conference hosted by University of California, Riverside this year and learning about the hands-on regenerative medicine research and projects they did over the summer. Check out some photos from the conference and submissions from this year's interns. Learn more about SPARK on our website: https://lnkd.in/gWW3saip
