While pay is rising across the sector, inflation is eroding these gains — and women leaders continue to face significant disparities, especially at the largest organizations. According to Candid's 2024 Nonprofit Compensation Report, analyzing data from over 128,000 organizations, women executives at large organizations now earn just 77 cents for every dollar their male counterparts make, down from 82 cents in 2012.
