Many kids who regularly rely on school meals may feel especially anxious during the summer months. According to the Urban Institute in 2023, "Families who were already facing food hardship were most likely to take on debt to pay for groceries, which could leave them less able to meet their basic needs in the future." CAPI remembers our good friend Bob Frawley. Bob was a pillar at CAPI for decades, advocating and writing grants to help boost CAPI programming. He was not only active outdoors, but active in the community and in his ardent support of immigrant organizations and communities in the Twin Cities. His friendship and spirit will be missed. To Maggie and family, our hearts continue to be with you. Bob has left a lasting impact on us all.
