Capital Tape has always been a family company, and not in the way many companies say they're family, rather literally, we are a family company. Today, I am so very saddened to say that we lay to rest the foundation of our family. A. Neil Small, my dad, passed away on June 25. Aside from being a father, husband, uncle, great uncle, and grandfather, he was also instrumental in creating the incredible culture at Capital Tape and guiding the company safely through stormy times. Dad was a legend— In the office, in the family, in his circle of friends. If you asked him what the 'A.' stood for before his name, he's snap back, "If I told you, I'd have to shoot you." He was a President and CEO here in the States, a brilliant man holding a Master's in economics and political science, he was a golf lover and proud member of Crail Golfing Society in his native Scotland. Capital Tape will be closed today for dad's services.
