I walk because my father, Robert Coleman, has Alzheimer's Disease. I walk because he is no longer able to. I walk because he first taught me how to walk. I walk to remember the good times that we had because he is no longer able to remember them. I walk because my dad was the best father anyone could ask for. I walk because he was my biggest fan and cheerleader. I walk to support the healthcare workers that are caring for people who have this disease. I walk because thousands of other families across the globe are being affected by this disease. I walk to show support to the famiiles that we serve at CarePatrol of North Central Ohio. Lastly, I walk to support the Alzheimer's Association® that is working tirelessly to help people that are affected by this terrible disease. My goal is to raise $2,000. Please consider making a donation to help me reach that goal. Thanks in advance for your help!

Anthony is focused on serving seniors and their families during a time when many emotional and practical issues must be considered. He listens carefully to all of his client’s needs, concerns and preferences before recommending appropriate levels of care such as Independent Living, Assisted Senior Housing, Memory Care or In-Home Care. Anthony went through the same daunting experience recently when he helped find care for a family member in Dayton. This experience gave him the passion that he has today to help families.

How many of you have heard your parents say “I’m not going to a home!” What they are referring to is your grandparent's nursing home. Like many things in life, senior care has evolved, and nursing homes are not the only option for our seniors. Nursing Homes provide a higher level of medical care than Assisted Living Communities. There are two kinds of care: Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF’s), and Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF's), both supervised by Physicians and Nurse Practitioners. A Skilled Nursing Facility is where patients are sent after surgery or after a serious illness for rehabilitation with physical, occupational, speech, or respiratory therapy.
