CaringKind had an inspiring week at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference #AAIC24 in Philadelphia! Thrilled that Stephani Shivers, our Chief Innovation Officer & Vice President of Program Development was there to network with amazing colleagues and present preliminary work on “Optimizing referral pathways to a community-based organization for early-stage Alzheimer’s and dementia Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) services.”   At CaringKind we are making incredible strides working with healthcare providers to advance services for those living with mild cognitive impairment or in the early stages of Alzheimer’s or another dementia. Our CST participants are experiencing great gains in mood, hope and resilience along with new social connections that drive their continued involvement in life-affirming programs.  Stephani and her team have taken a vital step forward in ensuring that individuals receive the support they need when they need it most.
