Our service area covers the Diocese of Toledo, serving: Allen, Crawford, Defiance, Erie, Fulton, Hancock, Henry, Huron, Lucas, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Richland, Sandusky, Seneca, Van Wert, Williams, Wood and Wyandot Counties.

HANDS OF CHRIST GALA | October 28, 2024 This week on "Faith Alive" Host Rodney Schuster, Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo Executive Director welcomes Jen Lippus, our Development Director, discussing the highlights of Catholic Charities "Hands of Christ" Gala. Then Dave Litzenberg discusses the October 10 Catholic Business Network breakfast featuring Gordon DeMarais, founder of St. Paul's Outreach at the University of St. Thomas, in St. Paul, Minnesota. The national interview is with Andrew Musgrave, Director of Social Action at the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, discussing how ivotecatholic.org can connect the way we vote to our Catholic beliefs. Congratulations to Ian Chambers, our HOPE Food Pantry Crisis Navigator, serving Richland County! He is the third recipient of the “Lucky Ducky” Sparkles Grace Drawing! "He works with a lot of different client situations and helps the homeless with connecting to services and helps us with screenings," says his nominator. "He is very calm and handles clients very well, especially being relatively new to this position!" This award is presented monthly to a Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo's employee who is nominated for going above and beyond their duties. Each winner hosts “Sparkles Grace” for one month, proudly displayed in their office. Recipients also are presented a framed award certificate by Rodney Schuster, Executive Director. Helping Hands of St. Louis is now looking for winter coats for our upcoming Winter Coat Fest on October 19! "We will be giving away coats, hats, gloves and winter boots," says Carolyn Schnapp, Helping Hands of St. Louis Clothing Center Coordinator. "If any church is having a rummage sale this fall we will take any leftover coats, especially men's coats."
