As a part of our commitment to employee wellness, CBBEL is partnering with SUM to get our team outside and into nature! This month, several team members enjoyed a four-mile morning hike in the backwoods of Busse Woods while spending time together outside of the office.

We are excited to welcome Ryan Williams to the CBBEL team! An avid traveler, his favorite places to visit have been Norway and Ireland!

CBBEL volunteered for the Ronald McDonald House Charities by packing care kits for families staying there. Thank you for your dedication in giving back!

Traffic Operations Engineer Paula Andrews, PE, RSP1, celebrating her seventh year at CBBEL, can be found outdoors either hiking, camping, or running on the beach or forest preserve trails.

As part of our Civil Design Department, we are proud to have a dedicated Landscape Architecture team, led by licensed Landscape Architect Doug Gotham. Joined by Emily Sibounheuang, who recently earned her master’s in landscape architecture, our team has extensive experience that focuses on community-centered urban design, including streetscapes, master planning and restoring natural systems.

CBBEL and Burke LLC Design-Build helped the Chicago Ridge Park District revitalize the underused Tower Park. The Park was enhanced with all new playground equipment, a perimeter walking path, new security cameras and the addition of a new parking area for easy and convenient access for parents. The park was completed in May, just in time for kids and families to enjoy during the summer months.

Our interns recently had their second site visit, seeing a project completed by CBBEL's very own Water Resources team in Orland Park! Interns got out in the field to learn how a Class I High Hazard Dam and Spillway was constructed to provide flood protection for the downstream residential development.

CBBEL team members recently prepared 75 meals for the families staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities! We are appreciative of their impactful work for the community and are thrilled to give back!
