The Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort is located in Northern Idaho, just 25 miles south of Coeur d'Alene or 30 minutes from Spokane Valley, Wa. We were able to donate $1,500 to giving backpacks Spokane with YOUR help. Did you know that we have donation boxes around our gaming floor where you can donate your change vouchers? We donate these to local charities in need. Giving Backpacks Spokane is a non-profit that provides backpacks to individuals or families who live in poverty. They also assist with living expenses, food, and transportation assistance.

Every month, our CEO choses an employee to highlight based on their hard work and dedication. This month, the CEO chose to highlight Alex Santos-Cucalon. Alex has worked at the Coeur d’Alene Casino since March 2024 as the Food and Beverage Administrator and Area Manager. Before he worked here, he worked at Thai Bamboo, Twigs, The Mirabeau Park Hotel and The Davenport Hotel. Since working here, he has created and executed a full new menu at the Little Dragon. One of his first goals was to introduce “fresh, bold, and bright flavors” to the Little Dragon. He also introduced gluten free and vegan options. We asked Alex what his favorite part about working for the Coeur d’Alene Casino was and he said, “The staff and seeing a contagious smile on our guests.” Fun fact about Alex, did you know he owns a large variety of Fish and Reptiles? Good job, Alex! Thank you for the hard work you put in everyday! We appreciate you!

Every month, our CEO chooses one employee to highlight based on their hardwork and dedication. This month, our CEO chose Jassica Couture. Jassica moved to this area 3 years ago from the CSKT of the Flathead reservation, and started working at the Coeur d'Alene Casino as a Cage Teller in August of 2021 (two weeks after she moved here), so she will be celebrating her 3-year anniversary soon! Yayy! She was recently promoted to Cage Supervisor in January 2024. Jassica's favorite part about working at the Coeur d'Alene Casino is "quite honestly, working with my team." One fun fact about Jassica is that she has an obsession with the Iliad and the Odyssey and is currently annotating one of the translations to compare to a newer translation that came out within the last year. CONGRATULATIONS, Jassica! Keep up the good work. We appreciate the work you are doing!

Yesterday we had our Circling Raven Media Day to celebrate Circling Raven's 20th Anniversary. On this day, we were surrounded by people and organizations that have been supporting and made Circling Raven possible. Among these people was Gene Bates, our golf course architect that designed what is now Circling Raven. Thank you all for coming. Let's make our 20 year anniversary one to remember!
