Center for Social Sector Leadership at Berkeley Haas reposted this
There's a dearth of finance talent in the social sector. One of the longstanding places to recruit that talent, though, is the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business—where MBAs benefit from a top-ranked finance curriculum, the Center for Social Sector Leadership at Berkeley Haas, and Sustainable & Impact Finance at Berkeley Haas. Now, Berkeley Haas is leading the way in developing that talent, too. Thanks to The Chronicle of Philanthropy for covering our new Impact CFO Fellowship which we've created to address this supply-demand gap. Although I was interviewed for this piece, I share the credit for building this program with my classmates Lizzie Hoerauf and Alex Weinberg, and Professors Nora Silver and Omri Even-Tov. If you're a nonprofit, social enterprise, or gov't agency interested in partnering with the Impact CFO program—through internship or full-time placements, mentoring MBAs, speaking at an event, or more—please reach out!
