CenterLight Healthcare PACE held its second chair exercise event, designed to promote wellness and physical activity among the residents at Weinberg Gardens. The program is gaining popularity by providing participants with a low-impact workout that enhances flexibility, strength, and mobility­­. The energy in the room was infectious as participants enjoyed both the physical activity and the sense of community the program promotes. This series is part of CenterLight’s ongoing commitment to supporting the health and well-being of seniors in the community. #NationalPACEMonth

CenterLight Healthcare PACE, a leading provider of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, recently launched an initiative at its Scheuer Plaza residential building aimed at enhancing the lives of its residents through nature and community engagement. The flower planting series invites residents to participate in the beautification of their living spaces with personalized planters to nurture throughout the season. This hands-on activity offers a therapeutic outlet, promoting physical activity, social interaction, and emotional well-being which aligns perfectly with CenterLight’s mission to provide comprehensive care that addresses both the medical and social needs of seniors.

CenterLight PACE staff enjoyed an evening of fun, food, and fantastic connections with friends from Amber Court of Pelham Gardens. The Honky Tonk BBQ bash was fired up and filled with camaraderie — strengthening community bonds and creating lasting memories for everyone in attendance.  

Luckily rain didn’t prevent the #WhitePlains Police Department from hosting their rescheduled #NationalNightOut event. CenterLight Healthcare PACE staff shared in the festivities and connected with the community by sharing information about our Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). It was a beautiful night at the National Aging In Place Council (NAIPC) summer gathering at Nicky’s in Bayshore. It’s always a pleasure to connect with community partners and support a nonprofit dedicated to helping older adults through advocacy, education and resources. CenterLight PACE staff continues to build strong community ties to help support our aging population. 

It was a day full of both of education and entertainment at the North Amityville Senior Center. CenterLight Healthcare PACE delighted attendees with a performance by Anita Starlite, who dazzled with her Barbara Streisand impersonation. Her renditions of classic hits evoked fond memories and created a lively atmosphere for the seniors. Our CenterLight team provided information about our Program for All-Inclusive Care (PACE), which supports seniors in maintaining their independence through personalized medical and social services. #KeepingUpwiththePACEofAging through music.

CenterLight Healthcare PACE proudly supported Acacia Network’s 2024 Older Adults Conference at Columbia University’s Alfred Lerner Hall. This partnership exhibits our shared commitment to improving the health and well-being of older adults through community engagement. The attendees had the opportunity to connect with valuable resources and programs. The event featured cultural programming and musical presentations.
