Contrary to popular belief, trash doesn’t take itself out! After July Fourth celebrations left Central Park in need of some TLC last week, our #CentralParkConservancy volunteers stepped up to the challenge! In just over three hours, they cleaned up nearly 600 pounds of trash. Help our team keep Central Park beautiful by cleaning up after yourself. Remember, organic items don’t just disappear or simply break down. Scraps of discarded food will rot—attracting pests—and endanger Central Park’s ecological health, wildlife, and even visitors’ pets. Thank you to the amazing volunteers who care so deeply about the Park and dedicate their time to restoring its beauty. We couldn’t do it without you! 💚
