We are so #thankful for the generous companies, individuals, and school groups who adopted candidate individuals and families this year through our Giving Tree program. Thanks to you, tomorrow, 14 adults and 20 children in the Habitat program will be able to wakeup to gifts of both wants and needs. Over 300 items were donated, including four bikes, one bike custom made by Dialed Bicycles Cayce. Our second Project Play House was a success! All work becomes worth it when you see the kids see their homes for the first time. Seven playhouses completed at the office with one other offsite. Houses were presented to homeowner children and grandchildren and funds raised will allow us to open another round of 4-6 home repairs! Our Executive Director, Suzanne Brooks, had an exciting day out of the office when she was able to participate in "Principal for a Day" with Richland School District One at Arden Elementary. Education is a part of Habitat's Quality of Life Framework. Learning about the #community we are serving and working in is crucial to being better stewards to those we serve.
