Governor Kathy Hochul released her Executive Budget Proposal and the picture she paints for the future of nonprofits like ours is grim. If enacted, nonprofit providers of supports and services for New Yorkers with intellectual and developmental disabilities will receive a mere 1.5% cost of living increase, which is NOT ENOUGH. Please participate in the “One-Click” communication campaign and tell our State Officials to support the salaries for our DSP's and the services we provide for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. There is strength in numbers, so it is crucial that you participate. https://lnkd.in/dq9zTQen Thank you for your support!

We understand there are many organizations to choose from and support on #GivingTuesday, however, donating to Cerebral Palsy of Westchester will have a direct impact on the lives of children and adults living with developmental disabilities. Just ask Leah Matos-Jimenez, featured in CPW’s 2023 Annual Appeal, who tells us how much she loves her time at CPW’s BRIDGE School.
