Exciting news: as of today, Ceres Terminals is now officially operating under the SSA Marine brand. Since Carrix, Inc. acquired Ceres in September of 2023, we have been diligently integrating the collective strengths, best practices, and extensive industry experience from both Ceres and SSA Marine for the benefit of our employees, customers, port authorities, unions, and communities. Together, under the SSA Marine brand, we will work together to leverage our local expertise and global best practices to provide the leading terminal operations and stevedoring services to container, cruise line, breakbulk, and auto customers in North America. Great work to our team in Hueneme who joined in the state of California's annual Coastal Cleanup Day. The United Nations published that the 2023 theme highlights the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL), which covers the prevention of pollution of the marine environment by ships from operational or accidental causes.
