About us
A cross-country electric vehicle event. Over the course of 10 days this fall, teams of drivers — of various backgrounds and skill levels — will traverse the US, from New York City to Los Angeles, using only electric vehicles. “Charge Across America,” will be featured in a gripping multi-part documentary, but the event extends well beyond the big screen. it aims to demystify EVs, highlight key technologies and the exponential gains and underscore just how feasible it is right now for drivers all over the US to potentially adapt to these energy-efficient cars. The teams will brave the expected elements that come with a long-distance driving race — route navigation, fatigue, inclement weather, tough terrain, and others. They’ll also face the unique, but manageable, challenges that come with driving electric vehicles: identifying charging stations along the way and determining how much mileage a vehicle can cover before requiring more charge.

The Tesla Cybertruck has hit the market with a bang — it's already the second most popular electric truck. The EV revolution is spreading to many corners of society — including amusements parks. The Autopia rides in Disneyland in LA are going electric. The ride was first introduced in 1955 and even the designer of it, Bob Gurr, is thrilled. He said: those “God-awful gasoline fumes” have to go.
