We are excited to share that our Director of Youth Activities, Jennifer Gibson, was featured in the latest Club Managers Assn of America (CMAA)'s Club Management magazine! Jen's article features the Club's new state-of-the-art Family Center and how it promotes multi-generational interactions and our Club's family programming. This feature recognizes the steps we take to be a premier family club and we couldn't be prouder of Jen and her representation of the Club!

At Charlotte Country Club, we believe in continuous learning and collaboration. This year we started a monthly team member education series called Minds in Motion: Fueling Continuous Growth. One of the many things that make our team special is our diverse skill sets and expertise. That's why our sessions are taught by none other than our very own talented team members. In the first quarter, we learned about personality traits and how we work with others, gardening tips, and had a DIY crafting session! Stay tuned for our second-quarter workshops to see what valuable insights and skills we'll gain together in the upcoming sessions!

We recently celebrated our Team with our Team Member Appreciation Week! Their dedication, hard work, and passion drive our success every single day, that's why instead of celebrating them for one day, we celebrated them for a whole week! Here are just a few ways we showed our appreciation: -Special meals -Thank you cards -Activities -Snow cones -Massages -And more!

This past week at our Annual Meeting it was announced that our new golf facility, which will be built later this year, will be named The Mack Ferguson Golf Facility! Mack has been a part of our Golf Operations team for almost 70 years now and has made an incredible impact on every member and team member he has interacted with. It was an honor to have Mack and his wife be in attendance at our Annual Meeting to hear the incredible news. Below is a video of Mack discussing his tenure at Charlotte Country Club.

Angel has been an integral part of the Charlotte Country Club team since she joined in August of 2022. She is always someone that you can count on to be happy, smiling, and offering a helping hand. She works hard to provide the best member and team member experience for all. Angel's hard work, dedication, and passion truly make a difference here, and we're incredibly grateful to have her on our team!

Our team came together yesterday to make 800 sandwiches for Roof Above, a homeless service that serves 1,200 people per day. The experience of coming together to serve our community has been humbling and rewarding. It's a reminder of the power we possess to effect positive change, no matter how big or small our actions may seem. We are thankful for all the team members who participated in making the 800 sandwiches! Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world for all.
