Jon Bondy, Chair of the Fidelity & Surety Group, recently sat down with hosts Kat Shamapande and Mark McCallum on an episode of the Let's Get Surety podcast where he shared his insights on the producer's role in the claims process. Jon is pictured below second from the left. "An experienced claims professional, in house or outside, is going to understand from the outset that the producer is looking out first, for his or her accounts' interest," said Jon on the podcast recording. "As outside claims counsel, my role is to look out for the surety's interest and the claims professional to whom I report. She or he is looking first to their company's interest, but that doesn't mean there is an unavoidable friction between the two."
