There is a teacher shortage and a need to better support diverse, multilingual students in the U.S. Refugee and immigrant adults who have a passion for teaching - many of whom were teachers in their home countries - can help fill these gaps. 👩🏽🏫🏫 Our #PathwaysToTeaching project is working to improve education systems by creating more inclusive pathways to education careers, so all prospective educators can pursue their career aspirations and all students can experience equity, joy, and belonging in multilingual and multicultural education environments. The Refugee Olympic Team stands as powerful symbol of the global refugee crisis and showcases the strength, perseverance, and success of refugee athletes.
